ES Setif has denied reports indicating the Club has parted ways with Ghanaian striker Daniel Lomotey.
Reports claimed the Algerian side had terminated the contract of the Ghanaian who joined two Months ago.
Lomotey has not been able to make any appearance for the side since joining.
He was left out of games due to documentations issues but got it sorted out.
According to Setif, the player picked up a setback at training and has now recovered hence could face Enyimba in the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend.
“Reports that the Club has cancelled the contract of striker Daniel Lomotey is untrue,”the statement reads.
“Lomotey suffered an injury at training on his arrival and has since been working to become fit.
“He has now recovered and will be in contention for the Confederation Cup match against Enyimba this weekend.”
The former Ghana U20 forward joined the North African club from Ghana Premier League side WAFA.
