Asante Kotoko kept their title hunt in sight as the Porcupine Warriors held Aduana Stars to a pulsating 0-0 tie in Dormaa Ahenkro in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Portuguese gaffer Mariano Barreto restored Razak Abalora to the post after dropping him against WAFA last weekend and the Ghana shot-stopper peaked at vital stages of the game to keep Kotoko in the game by making crucial saves.
The point from the game has pushed Kotoko on top of the table with 47 points a point above rivals Hearts of Oak who take on Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The clash was characterised by off-the-field controversy and incidents but in the end the two sides shared the spoils.
Aduana are 7th with 40 points.
