A Ghana U24 team has ended their friendly tour of East Asia in defeat after losing all four games played against Japan and South Korea Olympic Teams.
The side coached by Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin have set Ghana’s worst record in juvenile football on the international stage after conceding 15 goals in 4 games and managing to score only two times.
The Meteors began their campaign by succumbing to a 6-0 defeat against Japan’s Blue Samurai in the opening game before losing 4-0 in the reverse fixture in two fixtures staged at Fukuoka in Japan.
After shipping 10 goals against the Japanese team the team, headed by Frederick Acheampong, moved to South Korea where they also played 2 friendly games.
In the first leg tie the team lost 3-1 on Saturday morning against a 10-man Korean side before they slipped to a 2-1 loss against the same side in Jeju.
The team is expected to return to or an Accra later this week.
