Liberty Professionals staged a commanding second-half performance to beat WAFA 3-2 at the WAFA Arena in Sogakope in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
Abraham Wayo scored a second half brace after WAFA had taken a 2-1 lead in the first half.
Kingsford Opoku Frimpong profited from a spilled ball by goalkeeper Kwadwo Bonsu.
However the lead did not last long as Augustine Boakye pulled parity for WAFA through a cracking 30 yard effort.
Justus Torsutsey put WAFA 2-1 ahead on the 31st minute mark when he brilliantly finished off a chance created by the WAFA midfield. The 28-year-old military officer has now scored 5 times in 11 games for WAFA.
Abraham Wayo however restored parity for Liberty through the penalty spot in the 65th minute.
Wayo scored his second his goal of the game to put Liberty back ahead.
