Ghanaian youngster Eric Oteng grabbed the consolation goal for Tampereen Ilves when they suffered a 3-1 loss to FC Lahti in the Veikkausliiga on Thursday.
The 19-year-old opening the scoring for his side with a precised strike on the 26th minute mark. Oteng netted the opener after his side had earlier squandered a penalty awarded them in the 21st minute.
Oteng, a product of the Right to Dream Academy, joined Ilves on loan from Danish side Nordsjaelland and he has netted once in 5 games for them.
He becomes the second Ghanaian player to score in the Veikkausliiga on Thursday after Ishmael Yartey scored for FC Haka against giants HJK Helsinki.
