Giants Hearts of Oak must wait to find out whether defender Robert Addo Sowah will be fit to face Accra Great Olympics on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
The 27-year-old limped off after 38 minutes in the first-half of after going down to a challenge from a Liberty attacker. His place was taken by Caleb Amankwaah.
Sowah was holding his ribs when he was helped to walk off the field and it appeared he has suffered a rib injury but more details about his injury is expected to be known on Thursday.
Hearts are in a race against time to get the center-back back to fitness ahead of Sunday’s Accra derby against Great Olympics.
Hearts have not conceded a goal in all the last 5 league matches Sowah has featured in for the Phobians.
