Former Asante Kotoko and FC Basel defender Samuel Inkoom scored a stunning for Torpedo in the Georgian top-flight league on Wednesday afternoon.
The 32-year-old paced himself into space to receive an inviting pass from Algerian Mehdi Boukassi inside the area. After observing the positioning of the goalkeeper and the loose in the Samtredia defence the defender expertly fired at goal and finished with aplomb to the delight of the home side who had conceded in the first-half.
This becomes Inkoom’s first goal of the season for Torpedo but has provided three assists in 13 games so far in the season.
