Hearts of Oak will make a return to continent football next season after winning the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.
Hearts, former winners of the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and Super Cup, will represent Ghana in the 2021/22 CAF Champions League following their success in the Ghana Premier League.
The last time Hearts made appearance in CAF interclub competition was in 2015 when the late Herbert Addo led them to the CAF Confederation Cup when they were eliminated from the competition just before the group stage.
Before that Hearts had represented the West African powerhouse in the 2009/10 edition of the continental first-tier club competition but got knocked out of the competition before the group stages.
