Gladson Awako is increasingly unlikely to pen a new contract with Accra Great Olympics, according to a report.
The Ghana international’s contract with the capital club will end next month and the Wonder Club is keen to convince him to renew his contract.
But, with Hearts of Oak on the horizon the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winner has firmly set his sights on a move to Olympics’ cross-city rivals.
Hearts will be playing in the CAF Champions League next season after winning the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League and the prospects of playing in the continental top-tier club football competition is exciting the former TP Mazembe star.
Awako joined Olympics in 2019 after seeing out his contract with American side Phoenix Rising where he spent 2 seasons.
