Hearts of Oak defender Caleb Amankwah says the Phobians have firmly fixed their focus on winning double in the season.
The 23-year-old darted home a majestically taken free kick in the 109th minute to ensure the Phobians seal passage to the semi-finals of the competition.
Hearts have already won the Ghana Premier League title and the win on Saturday means they remain in strong contention for the FA Cup title.
“We have discussed among ourselves that we need to win every trophy available in the season and this is one of them so we are well prepared to win it,” he said in the post-match interview.
The former WAFA and Aduana Stars defender also explained the technique behind his stupendous free kick.
“Its something I rehearse in training a lot but I don’t get the playing time and opportunity to display it. But, when the opportunity came I told them [Raddy Ovouka and Fatawu Mohammed] to allow me to take because I know how to turn it into a goal and they gave me the chance,” he concluded.
Hearts will face the winner of the quarter-final clash involving Medeama and Attram de Visser.
