Ghana international defender Baba Rahman maintained his impressive form in the pre-season for Chelsea after coming off the bench to play in the Blues’ 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Rahman, 27, replaced attacker Hudson-Odoi on the 64th minute mark and he impressively discharged his role with diligence as the Blues secured a vital moral-boosting pre-season win.
Sunday afternoon’s game becomes Rahman’s second pre-season game for the Blues after he came off the bench to assist the equaliser for Thomas Tuchel’s side in their 2-1 win over Bournemouth.
He could be maintained by the European champions if he impresses Tuchel in the pre-season.
