Ghana international forward Sandra Owusu Ansah has targeted a semi-final berth with Serbian side Spartak Subotica in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
Owusu Ansah, 21, debuted for Subotica as she starred in attack in their comprehensive 5-2 triumph over Irish side Peamount Women.
After marking his debut in style for the 11-time Serbian champions the former Supreme Ladies striker has targeted helping the Blue Doves to a semi-final place in the 2021/22 Women’s top-tier club competition in Europe.
“Oh yes, my team [Spartak Subotica] is 11 times champions in the Serbia local league. If there is something I have to add to the team then it will be the Champions League. I want to help my team to progress in the competition. At least semi finals in the UWCL,” she told Ghana Sports Online in an exclusive chat.
Owusu, who has 2 goals in 2 appearances for Ghana’s Black Queens has targeted socring goals to propel the ambition of her side.
” I wish to score more goals that actually defines a striker,” she added.
The former Fabulous Ladies striker was in action for 62 minutes on her debut for the Subotica.
