Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have denied signing midfielder George Amoako from Liberty Professionals.
Multiple media reports on Thursday morning claimed the Mauve and Yellows had completed the signing of the former US Tataouine-target.
But, Medeama Chief Executive Officer James Essilfie tells Ghana Sports Online there is no deal in place yet with the midfielder.
“He is a good player of which we can sign him from Liberty anytime the need arises. But, for now we have not signed any contract with him,” he told Ghana Sports Online.
Amoako, a former player of second-tier side Okyeman Planners, featured in 22 games for Liberty Professionals in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
In January Amoako was linked with a move to Tunisian side US Tataouine but he reportedly turned down the offer from the club.
