Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have completed the signing of defensive midfielder George Amoako from Liberty Professionals, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
The 22-year-old has signed a two-year-contract with the Tarkwa-based side and will form an integral member of coach Ignatius Fosu’s squad for the upcoming season.
Amoako, a former player of second-tier side Okyeman Planners, featured in 22 games for Liberty Professionals in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
In January Amoako was linked with a move to Tunisian side US Tataouine but he reportedly turned down the offer from the club.
