Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold appointed Albert Commey as the deputy CEO in charge of Sporting Director duties at the club, according to the latest reports from Obuasi.
Ghana Sports Online reported three weeks ago that Commey was expected to switch to the Ghana Premier League side after leaving Techiman Eleven Wonders.
However, reports from Obuasi have confirmed Commey has been named the new deputy CEO for the club and will also be responsible for sporting director duties at the club.
He quit Techiman XI Wonders after helping the club to beat the drop from the Ghanaian top-flight competition last season.
Commey has worked at Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, and Medeama SC in the past.
