Spanish powerhouse Barcelona has penciled down Ghanaian defender Salisu Mohammed as one of the suitable replacements for Gerard Pique, according to the latest reports.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form in the English Premier League for Southampton.
Barcelona is already on the market looking for a replacement for Pique who has been saddled by age.
The Catalan giants are convinced with the performance of the youngster who already knows what it takes to play in the Spanish La Liga after starring for Real Valladolid two seasons ago.
Pique has spent close to 13 seasons at Barcelona after joining the club in 2008 from Manchester United.
