Legon Cities head coach Maxwell Konadu is expected to be named the assistant coach 2 of the Black Stars, according to Kumasi-based Pure FM.
The 48-year-old trainer will be working closely with Borussia Dortmund’s head of talent development Otto Addo will be named the assistant 1 for the West African nation.
Konadu, 48, will be assuming the Black Stars assistant coach for the third time if he is confirmed by the Ghana FA.
He was the Ghana assistant coach from 2012 to 2013 and was also named the No.2 from 2014 to 2019.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Football Association is expected to name experienced Serbian tactician Milovan Rajevac as the new head coach of the Black Stars.
