Decorated Ghanaian midfielder Gladson Awako has given the strongest hint yet on his return to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.
Awako, 30, has been absent from the Hearts of Oak team for more than 21 days now despite having a binding contract with the Phobians.
Multiple media reports over the weekend of the former TP Mazembe star’s decision to quit the club over what has been described as experiencing spiritual challenges since he joined the Phobians.
The player’s agent Yussif Chibsah left a doubt on the minds of Hearts fans after he told Accra-based Asempa FM that the midfielder may play or may not play for Hearts of Oak.
However just barely 48 hours after Chibsah granted the interview the midfielder has gone live on Facebook to hint that he will return to the club soon.
“It’s not easy eh…I’m coming back strongly don’t worry. I’m coming…” he declared at the end of the live video where he was being trained by Train Like A Pro fitness trainer Laryea Totti.
Hearts of Oak issued a statement on the situation of the player on Tuesday in which the Phobians said they expect the midfielder to return to the club soon.
