Ghanaian champions Hearts of Oak recorded a resounding 2-0 win over Tema Youth in a warm up friendly game ahead of their CAF Champions League preliminary double-legged clash with Guinean opposition CI Kamsar.

Emmanuel Nettey thundered home the opener for the Phobians on the 7th minute mark at the Nania Park in Legon before Patrick Razak climbed off the bench to seal the win for the Phobians.

A beautifully cut in cross from Dankyi found Razak who nicely lodged it into the far right of the goal post to nailed the coffin of the Division One League side.

The Phobians have now recorded 5 goals in 2 friendly games without conceding.

Hearts coach Samuel Boadu handed starting berths to Salim Adams, Enock Asubonteng and Gladson Awako in a powerful line up that had goalkeeper Richard Baidoo in post.

Defender Larry Sumaila held down his place at right back with captain Fatawu Mohammed away on international duty with Ghana. William Dankyi stepped into the left-back role as Raddy Ovouka is on international assignment with the Congo national team.

Salifu Ibrahim, Isaac Mensah, Caleb Amankwah and Mohammed Alhassan all started the game for the Phobians.

Hearts should have doubled their lead a couple of minutes later after a Larry Sumaila cross found Asubonteng who located Nettey but he was shoved down for a foul.

On the hour mark Boadu introduced Victor Aidoo as a replacement for Isaac Mensah while Razak took the place of Asubonteng. Frederick Ansah Botchway replaced Awako with James Serwonu taking the place of Awako.

In the 81st minute Kofi Kordzi had a feel of the exchange by taking the place of Salifu. Isaac Agyenim Boateng also came off the bench to replace Salim Adams.
