Black stars and Asante Kotoko defender Ismail Ganiyu has extended his stay with Kotoko with a contract extension keeping him at the club till 2023.
The Porcupine Warriors took it to Twitter to announce the player’s stay after both parties reached an agreement.
The 25-year-old however was part of Milovan Rajevac’s 32-man squad to face Zimbabwe in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header but was ousted for technical reasons.
He was part of 5 players who dropped out of the squad. China-based Mubarak Wakaso, Emmanuel Gyasi, Tariqe Fosu, and Joseph Alfred Duncan all dropped out for varied reasons.
