Iconic Portuguese gaffer Jose Mourinho handed Ghanaian teen sensation Felix Afena Gyan his debut appearance in the Serie A.
Afena, 18, was introduced on the 57th-minute mark as a replacement for Uruguay international Matias Vina at the Sardegna Arena as Roma fought from behind to secure a 2-1 away victory over Cagliari.
Roger Ibanez and Lorenzo Pellegrini scored on the 71st and 78th minutes respectively to turn the game around for the visitors.
Afena-Gyan, born in Sunyani, had a decent debut game for I Giallorossi in his first senior Roma appearance at Cagliari and could be a constant feature after impressing on his debut.
He scored six goals in the Italian Primavera for the reserve side of Roma which impressed Jose Mourinho to give him a chance with the senior team.
