The local agent of Black Stars teen sensation Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Prince Omar, has revealed that the transfer of the youngster will be completed on January 8, 2022.
Sporting Lisbon has a three-year agreement in place for the 2021 U20 AFCON winner but he is unable to join the club due to his tender age.

The local agent of the player has told Kumasi-based Pure FM that there is already an agreement in place for the youngster to be registered by Sporting on January 8.
“Fatawu is a player of Sporting and nobody in Ghana has the right to transfer Fatawu to another club. Fatawu will turn 18 on March 8, 2022 but on January 8 2022 the club,” he told Pure FM.
Fatawu has been capped by Ghana once at the senior level but has featured in games for the Black Stars B. He won the U20 WAFU Zone B tournament with Ghana as well as the U20 AFCON title in 2021. He was voted the Best Player in both tournaments.
