Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold are set to beat Asante Kotoko to the signature of talented left-back Dennis Korsah.

The 25-year-old spent a couple of days in Kumasi in anticipation of a move to the Porcupine Warriors but, according to Kumasi-based broadcast journalist Jonathan Asiedu on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show, the Ebusua Dwarfs captain has left to Obuasi.

AshantiGold trainer Ernest Thompson Quartey has recommended the signing of the defender.

According to sources, the Miners hierarchy have already engaged the player in negotiations and could wrap up the signing of the defender in the coming day.
