Asante Kotoko wunderkind Isaac Oppong has become the talking point of the Ghana Premier League following his early-season exploits with the Porcupine Warriors.
At just 18 years of age, the Sunyani-born has been involved 5 out of the 6 goals scored by Kotoko after matchday 3 of the 2021/22 Ghanaian top-flight league.
Prosper Ogum Narteh, the Kotoko coach, has relied on the talent of the forward and has mainly deployed him as a super-sub but on Friday afternoon in Bibiani, he handed the budding talent his full debut and he impressed everyone who saw him in action.
Despite featuring all of Kotoko’s opening 3 games of the season, the crafted kid has played just a total of 143 minutes from the available 270 constituting 52.9%.
But, he has bagged 2 goals and assisted 3 times – meaning the only goal scored by Kotoko that he had nothing to do with was Samuel Boateng’s header against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The attached video explains details about the form of the budding talent for Kotoko.
