Former Arsenal star Emmanuel Frimpong has revealed that he has been staying in Ghana permanently since 2017.
The ex-England U17 captain has been speaking to Ghana’s sole sports-only television – GTV Sports+ on Sunday Night Live as he shares details concerning issues relating to his career.
He reveals to Karl Tuffour that he has been staying in Ghana permanently since 2017.
“I’ve been living in Ghana permanently since 2017. I’ve always had the idea of coming back to live in Ghana. I’ve always had a love for Ghana and I have always wanted to settle in Ghana with my family and my wife and that’s what I’m doing. Obviously, for my whole life, I have been playing football, and it’s been that kind of difficult and stuff like that. There is no better time than now in terms of spending time with the family. And, I have been enjoying that,” he said.
Frimpong was capped once by Ghana but captained England at the U16 and U17 levels.
