Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko are not relenting in their efforts to sign midfielder Justice Blay who becomes a free agent in the coming days.
The 29-year-old’s contract with Medeama comes to an end in the coming months.
According to Kumasi-based broadcast journalist K Eben on Asempa FM’s SportsNite, the Porcupine Warriors are still interested in securing the services of the workaholic midfielder.
Meanwhile, coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum remains underwhelmed by the performance of Mudasiru Salifu and Richard Boadu who have been playing as defensive cover for the back four of the club.
SportsNite also revealed that the father of the player is in favour of him signing a fresh contract at Medeama but the former Sekondi Hasaacas midfielder is keen to switch to Kotoko.
