Controversial bankroller of Ghana Premier League side King Faisal, Alhaji Grusah, has apologised for his sensitive comments against Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan.
Grusah practically insulted Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan following the ex-Sunderland forward’s comments about the Black Stars penalty against South Africa in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
He said: “The penalty was a penalty. Because he wanted to control Ghanaian football and he didn’t have the chance. Look at how his buttocks have become bloated. Why should he be brought back to the Black Stars? For him to do what? FIFA is more sensible than Asamoah Gyan. If not for the Black Stars, who is Asamoah Gyan? Even ball boy doesn’t qualify to be in this current Black Stars,” he said in audio aired by Kumasi-based Pure FM.
However, in separate audio aired on Pure FM, Grusah has apologised for his comments about the backside of the ex-striker who is Ghana’s all-time top-scorer.
“I am apologising to Asamoah Gyan for describing his buttocks that way,” he said.
