King Faisal head coach Amadu Nurudeen has ruled out the Green and Whites from winning the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.
Faisal has climbed to the top of the table after beating Kotoko 3-2 in Kumasi on Sunday on matchday 6.
Despite moving to the summit of the table following the victory over Kotoko, head coach of the club Amadu Nurudeen has insisted his side doesn’t aspire to win the ultimate.
“This result means that we are on course but it’s too early to say anything but we believe that if we continue working hard at least we will also get a respectable position on the league table not necessarily to win the ultimate or something because we are not ready for Africa,” he told Eli Kondoh of StarTimes Ghana in the post-match interview.
The result has put Faisal above Kotoko on the ladder although the two clubs are on the same points.
