Renowned Ghanaian broadcast journalist Bright Kankam Boadu has delivered a strong message to the President of the Ghana FA President Kurt Okraku following Ghana’s disastrous campaign at the 2021 AFCON.

The Ghana FA President has been responding to issues relating to Ghana’s disastrous campaign in Cameroon and laughed off calls for him to resign from his position.

The Black Stars, four-time title-winners of the continental showpiece, endured their worst ever campaign at the AFCON since the West Africans debuted at the competition in 1963.

In a group featuring Morocco, Gabon, and debutantes Comoros, the Black Stars finished bottom of Group C with just a point from 3 games and a deficit goal aggregate of -2.

In the midst of the general disquiet among the football community in the country, the President of the football governing body of the West African nation, has admitted that it is difficult to answer why Ghana failed to the tournament.

However, Ghanaian broadcast journalist Bright Kankam Boadu has delivered a strong message to the GFA President.

“Football is collapsing under your watch. He couldn’t even render an apology to Ghanaians for what happened,” he told Benedict Kwadwo Mensah.

“And, for those of you talking about 17 debutantes in the Ghana squad, let me ask them. How many times has the entire Comoros team participated in the AFCON before?” he quizzed.
