King Faisal punched themselves back to the summit of the Ghana Premier League table after edging Gold Stars 2-1 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The tie was decided after the first 45 minutes as all three goals were scored in the first half.
Asante Kotoko loanee Osman Ibrahim raced Faisal into the lead with a silky finish on the 21st minute to register his 5th goal of the season.
17 minutes later, 17-year-old forward Zubairu Ibrahim increased the tally for Faisal with a neat finish as he scored his 6th goal in 11 games.
The two Ibrahims have now scored 11 goals between them in the league this season.
Former Aduana Stars player Charles Gyamfi halved the deficit for the Nuggets during first-half stoppage-time.
