Football aficionados and enthusiast Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in Central Region have hailed Berlene Nyarko for earning a call-up into the Ghana U17 female national team.
The 15-year-old has been named as part of Baba Nuhu’s 22-girl squad to face Senegal’s young Teranga Lioness in the first leg of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup India 2022 Qualifiers.
Nyarko, who plays for Mfantsiman Royals, earned her place in the squad following her impressive form for her club.
She will be hoping to seal a permanent berth in the squad and progress through the junior ranks to establish herself.
Sports journalist, Alex Kobina Stonne, known in the media as Kobby Stonne, in an interview, noted that Berlene Nyarko will make the good people of Breman District proud.
“I believe that Beline Nyarko and the entire Black Maidens team will make Ghana and the people of Breman District proud,” he told Adomfmonline.com.
