France-born midfielder Elisha Owusu finally made his debut for Ghana on Tuesday evening as Ghana held Nigeria to a 1-1 drawn game to secure qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Owusu, 24, took the place of Jordan Ayew on the 46th-minute mark at the Moshood Abiola Sports Stadium as Arsenal star Partey scored the crucial goal for the Black Stars.

The Montreuil-born midfielder earned his maiden Ghana call from Otto Addo and the Borussia Dortmund assistant trainer handed him his debut as he came off the bench to play.
Spotting the number jersey, the midfielder played in a concerted effort with Thomas Partey in midfield as Ghana emerged dominant defensively to record the important triumph.
