Bechem United consolidated their place on the league table despite sharing the spoils with Hearts of Oak in an entertaining 1-1 drawn game in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Kasim Ocansey Mingle’s side protected their home invincibility as they supremely held the Phobians for large parts of the game.
Emmanuel Owusu Boakye capitalised on a defensive blunder inside the Hearts area to stab the ball behind Richard Attah for the opening goal.
But, young midfielder Suraj Seidu outpaced a host of Hunters defenders to dink the ball past the on-rushing Iddrisu Abdulai for the leveller.
The second half presented good exchanges that saw Afriyie Barnieh and Kwadwo Obeng Junior both coming close.
None of the sides was able to secure victory before the game petered out.
