Bechem United has reached the final of the 2021/22 MTN FA Cup after brushing Aduana Stars aside on Sunday afternoon at the Golden City Park in Berekum.
The Hunters, who won the tie 2-0, will face Hearts of Oak in the final in Kumasi.
Hearts, who are the most successful club in the competition, beat Dreams FC 3-2 in the other semi-final game played on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Bechem, handled by Kasim Mingle, impressively dominated Aduana throughout the exchanges with talisman Augustine Okrah assisting Emmanuel Avornyo for the opening goal on the 16th-minute mark before registering his name on the scoresheet with a cracking free-kick.
The winner of the final will claim the sole ticket available to participate in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup competition.
