Former Hearts of Oak board member Isaac Tetteh has categorically told fans of the Phobians that the club now belongs to majority shareholder Togbe Afede XIV.

The Phobians have dominated the headlines in the West African nation after they failed to qualify to the final play-off stage of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup.

Some fans attacked two personalities within the leadership fraternity of the club with some irate fans deflating the car tyres of Vincent Odotei Sowah while causing several damages to his venue.

A section of the club’s supporters have also started pointing accusing fingers at Togbe Afede XIV for retaining Akanbi and Odotei around him.

However addressing these issues on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show, former board member of the club Isaac Tetteh, who is popularly known as TT Brothers, has gone blunt and truthful with the supporters.

“Hearts now has an owner which is Togbe Afede XIV. He has the final say on matters of these nature. He is the Hearts owner. Our time was different because the club didn’t have an owner back then.

There were patrons and leaders. The Ga people used to say that Hearts is not for anyone. But today Hearts has an owner today. This is what the supporters must have in their minds. They shouldn’t allow anybody to deceive them.

Hearts has an own today and that is Togbe Afede XIV just like Kotoko is for the Asantehene. So he chooses who he wants to work with,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show on Monday night.
