Tripler jumper Abigail Kwarteng and USA-based Deborah Acquah along with high jumper Rose Yeboah have entered into a hot race to win the 2022 SWAG Female Athlete of the Year Award.

Kwarteng (triple jumper) and Acquah (long jumper) who both competed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK are in pole positions for the accolade.

Meanwhile high jumper Yeboah clocked her personal best at the West Midlands when she made a jump of 1.85 during the Commonwealth Games.

Kwarteng narrowly missed out on winning a medal for Ghana but her numbers in 2022 remain staggering as he leaped 13.03 meters at the Park West Ath. Complex, San Antonio, Texas, USA in May 2022.

Yeboah won the Prospect of the Year Award at the 2019 edition and would be hoping to mount the podium once more.
