Teen boxer Abraham Mensah has been named the 2022 SWAG MTN/Adamus Boxer of the Year following his impressive exploits in the calendar period.
Mensah, 19, won silver for Ghana at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham after defeating Rukmal Prasanna of Sri Lanka.
He received majority votes over his competitor Joseph Commey
He was also nominated for the Sports Personality of the Year Award however, Ajax stars Mohammed Kudus gracefully won the award with a landslide victory from the voting which was cast by close to 400 Sports Writers Association of Ghana members.
