The Ghana Armwrestling Federation would organise a coaching clinic for university coaches in the country.
The body has already entered into a partnership with the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) and would roll out a coaching program that starts with a clinic on the 23rd of February 2023 at the Ghana Telecom University.
The move is to improve the technical knowledge of the game as well as improve the human resource capacity of personnel within the sport.
Last August, the body introduced a grassroots program called the HD+ Kids Armwrestling Championship which received massive patronage.
The latest move by the federation is expected to systematically and gradually nurture and grow the sport within the various tertiaries institutions in the nation.
