Striker Abdulai Mukarama scored four goals as the Black Maidens trounce Gambia 5-1 in the first leg of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup qualifier
The attacker scored two goals in the space of 20 minutes after Nina Norshie had raced Ghana into the lead in 2minutes.
Mukarama scored her first in the 15th minute before adding up in the 35th minute to put the Maidens in a three-goal advantage at the end of the first half.
The Northern Ladies attacker got Ghana’s fifth goal in the 76th minute after the home side had pulled a goal back through Fatoumata Sowe.
Ghana will now host their counterparts at the Cape Coast Stadium in two weeks time.
