The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) have rejected Wilfred Osei Kwaku’s application for injunction on the 2019 Ghana FA Presidential elections.
The Tema Youth bankroller applied to the sports court to place the ice on the elections which is slated for 25th October, 2019 in Accra.
The GFA Normalisation Committee through it’s Vetting Committee qualified Palmer from the Presidential race after failing the test at the committee.
Osei Kwaku pleaded with the body to freeze the elections until his issues over his disqualification is ironed out.
CAS have told the embittered former Ghana FA official they are not able to grant his wish thus the elections will go ahead as planned by the Normalisation Committee.
CAS is of the view that it won’t interfere in the internal matters of the GFA.
This means the elections will proceed on the set date.
