Black Queens to face Guinea Bissau or Gambia in 2021 Women’s AFCON qualifiers

Ghana will take on the winner between Guinea Bissau and Gambia in the second round of qualifiers for the 2020 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations.

The Black Queens drew by in the first round and awaits the winner of the two teams (Guinea Bissau and Gambia).

Ghana were among eight countries who automatically made it to the second round of the qualifiers without playing any game.

Reigning Champions Nigeria, South Africa, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’ Ivoire, Mali and Morocco all made it through to the second round.

Coach Mercy Tagoe’s side faces any test to qualify for the Women’s Cup of Nations in Congo after missing out on an Olympic slot following a defeat to Kenya.
