The winger played the entire duration in Ghana’s 5-0 triumph over Ethiopia in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier last Sunday.
Agyepong made a case for himself having been handed a starting place by head Coach Kwesi Appiah.
The 22-year-old set-up two goals to ensure Ghana recorded their first victory in the qualifiers.
The former Ghana U17 captain sees his debut game for the senior National team as the most memorable in his career.
“Absolutely incredible feeling to make my international debut today. Today was a moment I will never forget,” he tweeted.
His presence gives Coach Kwesi Appiah more options on the flanks as the former Al Khartoum trainer looks forward to the return of injured Christian Atsu.
