FIFA U17 WWC qualifiers: Black Maidens awaits Liberia or Niger

Ghana’s U17 female side have been paired to face either Liberia or Niger in the first round of qualifiers for the 2020 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.

The Black Maidens will begin another quest to make a seventh straight appearance at the FIFA World Cup having featured in all six editions of the competition.

But will need to see off the winner between Liberia and Niger who battle out in the Preliminary round.

Ghana, bronze medalist at the 2012 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup remain one of Africa strongest sides at the World Cup and currently holds Africa’s best ever finish at the competition.
