Jordan Ayew miraculously recovers to be available for Swansea City weeks after missing Ghana’s World Cup qualifier in Congo with sickness

Swansea City have confirmed striker Jordan Ayew is available to face Newcastle United in the English Premier League on Sunday just days after the ex-Marseille forward was hospitalized in Accra for food poisoning and was left out of the Ghana squad.

Ayew, 25, was taken ill for what was reported as food poisoning and was admitted to a hospital in East Legon, a suburb in Accra – Ghana’s capital, two days before the Black Stars flown to beat Congo Brazzaville 5-1 in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
