Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars have dismissed reports linking their striker Elvis Opoku with a move to FA Cup winners Asante Kotoko.
Kotoko’s feat on Sunday means they will represent Ghana in next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors have targeted four additional players to beef up their for the CAF inter-club competition.
According to reports they have earmarked striker Opoku.
But, Aduana CEO Albert Commey has watered down the speculations.
“It is not true. Elvis is always here. Even if we break camp he’s always here in Dormaa. We mean business for next season so we want to build a formable side,” he told Accra-based Adom FM.
Aduana will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League while Kotoko will play in the Confederation Cup.
