English League one side Bristol Rovers have signed English-born Ghanaian Bernard Mensah.
The 23-year-old made a permanent move to Bristol from National League side Aldershot Town where he spent two seasons.
Mensah, former player of English Premier League side Watford begins a fresh adventure in the lower League after spells with Braintree Town and Bernet.
“There were a few clubs interested but once I heard Bristol Rovers was one of them I knew this is where I wanted to be.” Bernard told the club.
“The gaffer at Aldershot played here a few years ago and told me the atmosphere and the fans are unreal.
“I played here myself as well about three years back and saw that from the fans too.”
“I always give it my all no matter where I play, but hopefully I can offer goals, pace and maybe some tricks!
“As a winger/striker you obviously want to score and create and goals so hopefully I can do that and offer some entertainment.”
The striker has already joined group training and in line for selection when Bristol Rovers play Blackpool on in the League match on Saturday at the Memorial Stadium.
