Galataseray manager Fatih Terim has shifted his focus on Ghana star Kwadwo Asamoah after Juventus refused to release the player.
The Turkish outfit made the Ghanaian international a top target in the summer transfer window, a move which went botched after the Italian Club (Juventus) failed to find a replacement for their left wing-back.
Galataseray had made efforts to lure him to Turkey in the winter however Juventus remain adamant to let go of the 28-year-old.
Fatih Terim is now looking at other alternatives as the January transfer reaches its peak in Turkey.
“I will give you some information about Asamoah. For me to develop first. You know the efforts of the President and our friends,” he is quoted by TransferMerkez.
“However, the possibility of it seems to be weak. We are looking at alternatives. ”
Kwadwo Asamoah, two years ago signed a contract extension which will keep him at Juventus until 2019.
Already reports indicate the Serie A Champions are planning another contract extension for the player.
Coach Maximillino Allegri’s move to play the Ghanaian in recent times further ward off the player’s possible exit from Turin.
