Ghana attacker Kwesi Appiah has undergone a successful surgery to correct his troubling hamstring.
The 26-year-old has been battling a hamstring for some time now.
His Club Wimbledon have been putting in measure to fix the problem for the striker in the past three months, an effort which has proved futile.
Appiah underwent a surgery on Tuesday at a hospital in England to resolve his injury woes.
This could see the Ghanaian international stay out for a couple of weeks.
The striker made a return to AFC Wimbledon after he was deemed surplus at Premiership side Crystal Palace where he struggled to make a first team appearance.
