Ghanaian youth defender Michael Scarf was marched off while in action for Napoli U19 in the UEFA Youth League on Wednesday afternoon.
Scarf, 18, was sent off after picking a double booking in the game as the Naples-based suffered a 4-3 defeat at the hands of Feyenoord in Rotterdam.
Both cards were recorded in the second-half of the game. Scarf went into the referee’s books in the 48th minute and finally got his marching orders on the 75th minute mark.
The results of the fixture, which took play in Rotterdam, leaves the Italian side at the bottom of the Group F table with 5 points from 6 games.
While he was receiving his marching orders in the game his Ghanaian compatriot Abdallah Basit lasted the entire period of the game for the Naples-based side.
English giants Manchester City and Feyenoord have progressed from the group.
